It’s that time of year again!! It seems I start getting excited about the holidays a little bit earlier and earlier each year :) I can’t help it! It is just such a lovely time in life….especially with young children. There is so much community and so many things to get out and see and enjoy. So many delicious treats to make and special moments to spend together. I feel incredibly blessed when I’m tucked in by the fire with sparkling lights, luscious smells, and my sweet little family’s smiles surrounding me. It really is magical!

This is such a beautiful store filled with gorgeous and elegant Italian made dinnerware, drinkware, home & garden goods and personal care items. There is a lovely story about a mother and her two daughters falling in love with Italy behind this company’s beginning too!

Bialetti
If you love Italy you’ve probably heard of the Bialetti brand. And most likely have had an espresso from one of their famous Moka coffee makers :) who’s coffee’s fragrance is pure Italian magic! Besides the classic Moka pot (available in lots of different sizes and designs), Bialetti also makes espresso machines, cups and mugs, all sorts of other coffee accessories, and coffee. Emiko Davies’ Cookbooks
If you love to cook authentic and delicious Italian food then you will love Emiko Davies’ cookbooks. These cookbooks are a delight to look at and are filled with stories and the histories of the recipes. Not pictured here is her newest cookbook Cinnamon and Salt, a cookbook dedicated to the delicious Venetian Cicchetti. Emiko lives in Tuscany with her Italian husband and two kids. Along with creating these wonderful cookbooks, she and her husband also do retreats and workshops throughout Italy.

If you love Majolica designs then you will love this shop. Their Vintage and Mediterranean Inspired designs are beautiful and unique. My favorites are the clutch purses :) Based in the US.

La Feltrinelli is a chain bookstore in Italy and IBS.it is their online shop. When we are in Italy we never miss La Feltrinelli. It is a little tradition of ours to pick out new books in Italian to bring home. With IBS.it you don’t have to wait to go to Italy to get books (and other goodies) in Italian. You can order them right here and have them shipped all over the world. Shipping to the US is very reasonable too. In addition to books, they offer ebooks, music, games, stationary and journals, home decor and gifts. Recently I also ordered my youngest a Italian learning baby toy. It arrived in two weeks and shipping was only 16 euros. The only draw back to this site is that it is all in Italian!
